Rockstar delivered the hugest open world map of all-time in Red Dead Redemption 2. Still, that didn’t stop insatiable players from ripping at the game’s stitching in search of even more.

And guess what: they found it! By exploiting a glitch in the map, gamers have managed to cross over to Mexico. The area, south of Rio Bravo, was clearly not meant to be reached – and not just because you have to jump through a number of awkward hoops to get there and travel through it.
The terrain doesn’t feature any real points of interest bar a couple of abandoned buildings and structures. It’s often low-res, too. But it’s clearly there for a reason, and fans are speculating as to why. It could be part of Red Dead’s upcoming online gameplay, or part of an upgrade that Rockstar delivers later on in the title’s lifespan.
