One imperial quart is same to two royal pints each consisting of 20 liquid ounces.

I learned this visual technique in school. Draw a huge "G" to represent gallons. Within the "G" attract 4 "Q"s. "Q"=Quart. Inside each "Q" attract 2 "P"s. "P"=Pint. Within each "P" attract 2 "C"s. "C" =Cup.
